The Indiana Fever have advanced to the semifinals of the 2023 WNBA playoffs after defeating the Connecticut Sun 3-2 in the first round. This is the first time the Fever have won a playoff series since 2016.

The Fever won the decisive Game 5 on the road in Connecticut by a score of 92-87. Victoria Vivians led the way for Indiana with 27 points, while Aaliyah Boston added 21 points and 12 rebounds.

The Fever will now face the top-seeded Chicago Sky in the semifinals. The Sky have won the last two WNBA championships and are considered the favorites to win it again this year.
